Increased flights from Sunshine Coast Airport

Jetstar has announced an additional daily flight to Sydney as well as three new Melbourne flights each week. The new flights will generate an extra 190,000 seats per annum and increase the number of passengers through the local airport by 30%.

Queensland Government has a budget of $7.1 billion to spend in 2009 - 2010 on the state's critical roads infrastucture and other transport systems. Good news for property investors and potential employees in the transport industries (not to mention drivers!)
